Like most of the Bahamian Islands there are plenty of opportunities for Bonefishing.

Light tackle fishing from shore can yield Snapper(Red, Yellow Tail,Schoolmaster,Mutton), Grouper(Nassau, Red Hinds, Graysby), Bonefish, Barracuda, Jacks (Bar, Horse Eyed), Grunts, and a number of others.

If you're interested in Deep Sea Fishing there are a number of charters departing from Harbour Island. You can arrange to be picked up from the mainland near the island. One of the best Marlin fisheries in the world exists off of the eastern side of Eleuthera. Dolphin(Mahi Mahi), Wahoo, and Yellowfin Tuna are also said to be plentiful.
